| We believe
that everything involves primarily two commissions; that
we love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and
with all our strength, and that we love one another! We
believe everything in the church community has to have
it’s root in these two great commandments or
commissions that Jesus gave. Matthew 22:37-38
As
believers and as a community of believers, our first
responsibility and passion has to be to love God through
our worship. We believe nothing is more important than
passionate, extravagant, intimate worship. We believe it’s
difficult to have a relationship with the Father, the
Son and the Holy Spirit if we do not spend time in His
Presence in worship, for it’s in His Presence, not
only is this relationship built, but character is
changed.
We
believe out of this intimacy will flow a desire to touch
all those around us, through teaching, training,
discipling, evangelizing, and even fellowshiping. We
believe it’s not because we have to, but because we
want to. We believe when we fall in love with Jesus, we’ll
begin to feel His heart, and that’s where ministry and
loving one another has to flow from, from God’s heart
- we believe to reach a community, it has to be more
than church programs, but individual believers walking
with signs and wonders following them in their everyday
living.
Everything
we believe flows out of this relationship - therefore,
we believe that the entire Bible is the inspired,
infallible Word of God - we believe that mankind must
have a personal encounter with God, as in salvation and
new birth - we believe in obedience through water
baptism by immersion - we believe in the infilling or
baptism of the Holy Spirit for empowerment, with the
evidence of speaking with other tongues - we believe in
healing for the body as provided for on the cross - we
believe one day Jesus will return for His Bride, the
Church - we believe in heaven and hell, and that mankind
has the choice - we believe God wants us to experience
His manifest presence here on earth today and the Church
is not only what happens within the four walls, but what
happens in the city and the nations - we are the Church!
